“Meet Finn, my loyal Australian Shepherd and self-proclaimed “Velcro dog.” He’s my shadow, my old man, and the first to greet me every time I walk through the door. Though he’s slowed down in his senior years, his spirit is as bright as ever. Finn is a double-merle, which means he was born completely deaf and nearly blind due to improper breeding — but you’d never know it by the way he navigates life. He’s mapped out every corner of the house in his head, and as long as I don’t leave laundry baskets in his path, he’s perfectly at home. Recently diagnosed with diabetes, Finn takes it all in stride — a reminder that a little care and a lot of love go a long way.”
